The accuser’s name and image is not being released by local nor national press despite their knowledge of the same. Rather, details about the young woman have been released.

Channel 11 News’ Rick Earle reports today that Roethlisberger has hired a high-powered criminal defense attorney from Atlanta. His name? The attorney is reportedly Ed Garland who handled the Ray Lewis (Ravens) homicide case.

Who is the alleged victim this time? Earle reports she’s 20, from the small college town in which the complaint arises, and is a sorority girl.

Deputy Chief Richard Malone says: “He’s been identified as being at the scene, and there are allegations naming him as the perpetrator”.

The location in question is Capital City nightclub in Milledgeville, Georgia. Ben has not been questioned. He also has not been charged with any crime.
